Hello Selia,
I have been trying for days to post a comment here about your adorable tassels. I too collect tassels and have them hanging from ever available surface in my house, but yours are some of the sweetest I've seen. I would love to know how you make them.
The little pink and green one with the bird's nest is my favorite.
I hope you have a wonderful day!

I found your blog through googling "Down The Rabbit Hole"as I'm about to start a blog myself and thought I'd better check if anyone else already had thought this would be a fun name for a blog. And you had! At first I was a bit disappointed but when I started reading I felt such an affinity with you that I felt glad that "Down The Rabbit Hole"already was such a lovely blog.
The tassels are beautiful- I'm inspired to have a go at making one myself although my skills are decidedly inferior to yours!

~A Garden of Thoughts~

  • THE Lord God planted a garden In the first white days of the world, And He set there an angel warden In a garment of light enfurled. So near to the peace of Heaven, That the hawk might nest with the wren, For there in the cool of the even God walked with the first of men. And I dream that these garden-closes With their shade and their sun-flecked sod And their lilies and bowers of roses, Were laid by the hand of God. The kiss of the sun for pardon, The song of the birds for mirth,-- One is nearer God's heart in a garden Than anywhere else on earth. For He broke it for us in a garden Under the olive-trees Where the angel of strength was the warden And the soul of the world found ease. ~~ by Dorothy Frances Gurney~~
