Seamus Flynn is just gorgeous! Great name too. Hope you enjoy your trip to Ireland, I've only been there once to the area around Galway Bay and the Ring of Kerry. I absolutely loved it and plan to go back and see more of Ireland at some point.

Annabelle

I could easily be persuaded by my daughter to add another furry baby to our family if he be a Seamus Flynn! He is a handsome little fellow…love him!!!! Have a great trip and your work is just beautiful and very clever. Enjoy your weekend.

Hugs Annabelle

Charlene

Your new Baby is adorable. They do steal your heart. Oh how wonderful about your trip! I so envy you! Take tons of photos so we feel like we are there with you. Who will babysit? Sorry it has been so long since I have stopped by. February has been terrible for private time. Too much work.

StorybookWoods

Congratulations, what a dream vacation. I have not been to Ireland but England and France is so beautiful. Seamus Flynn is so sweet. I can see you have been busy crating. Can not wait to see more. xoxoxox Clarice

Cathy Santarsiero

Congratulations on Seamus! He is darling. What a lovely trip to Ireland you have to look forward to. I can't wait to read all about it! Have a happy weekend! Warmly, Cathy ^..^

Dee

Dear Selia,

I'm so very envious! I long to go to Ireland, France, and England, my dream vacation. Wish we could tag along with you! :)

Your Seamus is just precious! As the 'mother' of a now 14 year old Shih Tzu I know how quickly and how deeply one can fall in love with a furry baby. She is actually the reason we aren't going overseas now (her health is poor and I can't bear to leave her) Enjoy your new baby!

Looking forward to your return and lots of blogging. Safe travels!

Paula

The lavender shoe sachets are beautiful! Your doll is beautiful too!!! You are so talented dear friend!
Much love, Paula

Eli

Oh Ireland! how romantic Selia I'll look forward to seeing your pictures when you return. Dear litle Seamus Flynn, I can see why he stole your heart, he's gorgeous. Have a wonderful trip. Eli

Raeann

I am so excited, Selia, Thank you! Your tassels are beautiful!
And do take lots of pictures of Ireland. I hope to go someday, but until then I will have to content myself with any lovely photos you share. What a great way to celebrate hubby's birthday. Like Marqueta, I would love to sneak into your luggage ~ too bad I am very claustrophobic!
Welcome dear little Seamus Flynn! God's little creatures are such lovely companions. I love them so.
Thanks again for your wonderful give-away.

Blessings!
Raeann

Marqueta

Dear Selia,

Congratulations to our favorite Lady Farmer! She deserves it!

A trip to Ireland, England, and France? Any extra room for me in your carry-on bag? Just kidding; PLEASE take lots of pictures to share for us! What a great opportunity.

The lavender sachets look like the ones I just saw in Victoria, and the pooch is a peach.

Love,

Marqueta

  • "...I want first of all...to be at peace with myself. I want a singleness of eye, a purity of intention, a central core to my life that will enable me to carry out these obligations and activities as well as I can. I want, in fact - to borrow from the language of the saints - to live "in grace" as much of the time as possible...By grace I mean an inner harmony, essentially spiritual, which can be translated into outward harmony...I would like to achieve a state of inner spiritual grace from which I could function and give as I was meant to in the eye of God..." by Anne Morrow Lindbergh Gift from the Sea

~A Garden of Thoughts~

  • THE Lord God planted a garden In the first white days of the world, And He set there an angel warden In a garment of light enfurled. So near to the peace of Heaven, That the hawk might nest with the wren, For there in the cool of the even God walked with the first of men. And I dream that these garden-closes With their shade and their sun-flecked sod And their lilies and bowers of roses, Were laid by the hand of God. The kiss of the sun for pardon, The song of the birds for mirth,-- One is nearer God's heart in a garden Than anywhere else on earth. For He broke it for us in a garden Under the olive-trees Where the angel of strength was the warden And the soul of the world found ease. ~~ by Dorothy Frances Gurney~~
  • To live content with small means, to seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion, to be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not rich, to study hard, think quietly, talk gently, act frankly, to listen to stars and birds, to babes and sages, with open heart, to bear all cheerfully, do all bravely, await occasions, hurry never, in a word to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common, this is to be my symphony. - William Henry Channing
