This is so good! I promise, it will all be eaten!
1 loaf of French Bread
1 can black olives, chopped
1 small jar of green olives, chopped
2 green onions, chopped finely
1 stick of butter, softened
1/2 cup mayonnaise
3/4 lb. Monterey Jack Cheese, grated
Place softened butter in a mixing bowl, then add 1/2 cup of mayonnaise, then the Monterey Jack cheese,then the olives and onions. Mix thoroughly. Slice the French bread in half and spread mixture onto both sides. Place on a cookie sheet in oven at 325 degrees for 30 minutes or until the top is bubbly and nicely soaked into the bread. My guys do not care for olives but loved this and described it as "a really good pizza!" You can slice this into thin slices for an appetizer or eat it with a soup and salad.
